Coffee Break #2

Hello! I don't really have anything specific to tell you about today so I think this is going to be another coffee break post. I like the idea of doing these coffee breaks so please let me know in the comments below if you enjoy reading these kinds of posts. If you interested in another dose of my coffee break ramblings then keep on reading!

Blogging on a schedule

For the past 2 months or so I have tried to stick to posting every other day. I have done pretty well at this, but I always end up missing a few days. In the beginning I thought that posting every other day would be a great way to build up content. This was a good idea in theory, but in reality I just couldn't stick to this schedule. I would get in the groove of posting every other day, but then life would just get in the way and I would miss a day. It really started bothering me when I couldn't keep up with my self imposed schedule and I realized that it was time to come up with a new schedule. I have noticed that I tend to get more blogging done during the week so I am going to start putting up a new post every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This is just so much more manageable than trying to post every other day. In other blogging news...

I bought my domain name!

When I first started blogging I didn't really get why I needed to have my own domain. I didn't mind having the blogspot.com at the end of my web address, but recently I have realized the importance of having my own domain if I am going to take this blog more seriously and treat it like a business. I found a great sale and set it up in about 15 minutes! I like that it makes LittleMissFangirly look more professional.

Coffee Coffee Coffee!

If you are a regular reader then you will know that I love coffee! I seriously need coffee to properly function and get through the day. Lately I have found that my normal 2 cups every morning just isn't waking me up as much as it used to which clearly means that I need more coffee! Ha ha, I know that drinking more coffee isn't the best for me, but I just really love my coffee. I have heard that tea is great for an afternoon pick me up, but I don't think that tea has enough caffeine to keep me awake. I like tea, but I love my coffee! This brings me to my next point....

I need to drink more Water!!

I love water and I'm usually pretty good at drinking it throughout the day, but lately I just haven't been drinking enough water. I have realized that I need to have water right in front of me in order for me to drink it. If it's not right in front of me, you can bet that I won't be drinking it. I know that the obvious solution is to keep a glass of water near me during the day, but that is easier said than done.

Okay, I think that this is a good place to stop for now so I don't just start rambling about nonsense. If you have made it to the end of this post congrats for sticking it out and reading my ramblings!

See you soon,

  1. I like these breaks! It helps readers know you more on a personal level. Girl I love coffee too, can say much about you increasing your intake. I would be able to do every other day for blogging and not keeping up with my goal would also frustrate me. But don't be too hard on yourself! Cheers my fellow coffee lover.

  2. I LOVE coffee talk inspired posts even though I'm yet to do one myself. YAY to having your own domain! Didn't it feel great being able to remove .blogger.com?? I'm totally with you on drinking more water, I use to be good and drinking 10 glasses a day but lately I've been slacking.

  3. I know what you mean about the blogging schedule. I've been a bit discouraged myself lately because I've been posting only twice a week when i've been meaning to post 3 times a week. Sometimes we just have to cut ourselves some slack!

  7. I have found that posting two AMAZING pieces of blog content is better than posting every single day or every other day. Keep up the good work and congrats on the domain name purchase!

  9. I totally allow myself to only post once a week. If I get inspired, I might get 2 out there. . I wish I had more time to write. I often wonder how those bloggers who are married with children, homeschool, create new recipes, diy projects, make amazing meals each night, follow a perfect wellness routine, keep there husbands happy AND blog 3-4 days a week making several thousand a month actually do it. I work 4 days outside the home, have 2 teens a husband, a new puppy and I help my elderly mother keep her life in tact each day. I do not have time to do all that, write and promote each day. Whew exhausting lol

  10. I try not to get too crazy about the blogging schedule but just focus on getting two well-written posts a week. Sadly, my coffee drinking days are over because I exhausted my adrenal glands and you guessed it, one of the worst things you can do for tired adrenal glands is to drink coffee. Currently, I enjoy a cup or two of black tea in the morning to get me going. Glad you decided to buy your domain name.
