My 3 Favorite Makeup Removers

I love wearing makeup, but its not the easiest thing in the world to remove. I love makeup that lasts all day without budging which has led to me spending a ton of time trying to find the perfect way to remove my makeup at the end of the day.
I have spent quite a bit of time scouring the web to find the perfect way to remove my makeup. I have tried several products and diy's to find the perfect makeup remover for me. After a ton of trial and error I have finally found my favorite 3 makeup removers! I couldn't pick just one because they are all great and they work for different scenarios. Now that I'm done rambling lets get to the makeup removers!

garnier micellar cleansing water

Cleansing Water

I must admit that I was very skeptical of cleansing waters when they first came out, but I have really come to like them for removing makeup. My current favorite cleansing water is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water link! which is a great drugstore cleansing water. I use cleansing water by putting it on a cotton pad and sweeping it across my face. I will admit that it takes about 3 or 4 cotton pads to remove a full face of makeup, but I usually don't mind it. Cleansing water is also great for sensitive skin.

simple micellar cleansing wipes

Cleansing Wipes

I think that cleansing wipes are the quickest and most travel-friendly way to remove makeup. I love using cleansing wipes by Simple because they don't irritate my skin or eyes. At the moment I am using Simple's Micellar Cleansing Wipes link! but I have tried their other versions and they all work great!  Over the years cleansing wipes have really gotten better at removing makeup.  I like taking cleansing wipes with me when I travel because I can just throw them away when I'm done and there's no mess!

coconut oil

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is great for removing makeup and moisturizing the skin. I love using coconut oil in the winter because it keeps my skin from drying out. Its just like using a cleansing balm, but cheaper! I rub some coconut oil on my dry face and then just rinse it off. The coconut oil does leave a residue behind after you rinse it off, but I don't mind because I follow it up with my cleanser. Putting the coconut oil on a dry face is a must! I tried wetting my face first and it just didn't remove my makeup. Coconut oil is great for removing waterproof makeup without having to spend a ton of time scrubbing at your face. Its the perfect way to remove liquid lipsticks and it even hydrates your lips! By the way I don't have a favorite brand of coconut oil, but if your interested this is the coconut oil I am currently using. link!

It took me quite a while, but I think that I have found my 3 favorite makeup removers. I really love all 3 of these ways to remove makeup, but I also want to know what is your favorite way to remove your makeup. Please feel free to let me know in the comments below!

I've been reading a lot about coconut oil and all of it's uses. We cook with it, so that'll probably be my first trial :)
